About Neal:
Neal is an ACSM-Certified Exercise Physiologist with a
Master's Degree in Applied Physiology from Columbia University,
in New York City.
A fitness professional for over 40 years, Neal has vast experience training all levels of clients, positively impacting post-rehabing executives with orthopedic conditions (THR/TKR, Low Back Pain, Shoulder/Spine Stabilization), retirees with neuromuscular conditions and weakness (Dynapenia/Sarcopenia, Parkinsons, and frailty), Olympic and professional athletes returning to peak performance after injury/surgery, and the general population simply looking to improve their health and quality of life.
Neal has been listed as one of the top ten fitness directors and educators in the nation by the American Council on Exercise (ACE). He has served on the Executive Council for the Committee on Certification and Registry Board for the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) and on the Faculty Advisory Board for ACE, and is one of a very few front-line fitness professionals in the world who have received the prestigious credential of Fellow of the American College of Sports Medicine.
A published author, public speaker and contributor to national media including The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Time Magazine, Runner’s World and The CBS Early Show, Neal has been a member of the Speakers Bureau for the Strategic Health Initiative for Women, Sport and Physical Activity, and has served as Lecturer for the Orthopedic Sciences Department on the Faculty at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine, and the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey.
